The school year begins October 1
and is in session for 8 months through Memorial Day. The
philosophy of the school is to have as many experiences as possible that will help the
children grow emotionally, socially, physically, and cognitively. The activities include
music, arts and crafts, stories and educational units. We work in small groups that teach
science, numbers, colors and shapes, reading readiness and community helpers.
There is a staff of four teachers who are dedicated and
experienced to minister to the needs of the children. Helen Emrich, Director, is certified
in Early childhood and K-8. She has been with the school for 24 years. Mrs. Emrich is a
graduate of State University of New York, New Paltz with graduate courses at Columbia
University and William Paterson University. |
